is a Japanese concept made of two symbols: empty and heart,
which is a shorthand for the Zen concept of mushin no shin, or
"mind of no mind" - the state a martial arts practitioner attains
when his or her actions are unfettered by conscious thought or emotion.
This mental state is closely associated with the martial art known
as Mujushin Kenjutsu (popularized in the anime Samurai Champloo),
