Product Details
Hand cast sterling silver silhouette-style charm of the Japanese/Chinese kanji symbol for "karate." The symbols mean: empty (top), hand/fist (middle), and way (bottom), so the full translation is "way of the empty fist". In Japanese it is pronounced karatedo, and in Chinese it is kong shoou dau. The word "karate" is engraved on the back, as a translation. The charm portion is 1 1/2" (39mm) long, 1/2" (14mm) across, and 1mm thick.
The charm comes on a 6mm split ring, suitable for wearing on a charm bracelet or necklace chain, and the pendant comes on a fancy 7x5mm bail. The split ring and bail are sterling silver. For both the charm and pendant, the total length is 1 2/3" (44mm).
